PUPIL’S ACTIVITY

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher revisits the previous lesson on Soil types

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher then explains the properties of sandy soil

1. Sandy soils have a light texture and loose structure, which cause them to drain quickly and not hold water well.

2. Sand particles are large and surrounded by air pockets, which provides plenty of open spaces for water to move through. When you pour water onto sandy soil, the water doesn't pool on the surface, but soaks right in

3. Sandy soil has a loose structure with large pore spaces, which allows for easy movement of roots through the soil.

STEP 3

DEMONSTRATION

The teacher further demonstrates these properties by showing the pupils live examples

Pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 4

NOTE TAKING

The teacher writes a short note on the board

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher then explains functions of some special keys

1. Control key-The Control key serves as a shortcut for various commands. It is used in combination with other keys on the keyboard

2. Enter key- It is used send the cursor to the next line or executes an action

3. Spacebar key- It's always the largest and longest key on the keyboard. it creates an empty space known as a space character or whitespace that helps separate words and other characters in a sentence

4. Function keys- The function keys or F keys are lined across the top of the keyboard and labeled F1 through F12. These keys act as shortcuts, performing certain functions, like saving files, printing data, or refreshing a page.

5. Tab key- The tab key(abbreviation of tabulator key or tabular key) on a keyboard is used to advance the cursor to the next tab stop.
