The Teacher uses the ‘pray every day’ song to introduce the topic.

She explains that there are different forms of prayer-

    1.Verbalizing

    2. Mediation

    3. Groaning

     4. Adoration

Pupils pay attention and participate

DEMONSTRATION

Using the Bible story books and the pictures therein she tells the story of the Destruction of Sodom and Gemorrah

            -How God wanted to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah .

             -How Abraham interceded for the country so that God would not destroy the country. Gen 18: 20-33

NOTE

Verbalization is a form of prayer in which you express your word by speaking especially out loud. Mediation is a form of prayer where you pray(intercede) for someone else problem.

Evaluation:       1. Examples are forms of prayers (Verbalizing, Kneeing, Mediation)
