The teacher revises the previous lesson on the Anioma, Ijaw and Ogoni People

NOTE

An indigene is a native of a place

 

IGBO PEOPLE

They are located in Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia, Imo, Cross River and Rivers state. The igbos have no historical identification. Many versions claimed different sources hence, a confusion.

Indirect rule was ineffective in Igbo land making it difficult for the British to appoint an individual to fulfill that role

The igbos have are renowned as skilled traders and entrepreneurs causing them to travel far away from home to do their business.

Notable Igbo figures include Nnamdi Azikwe, Michael Okpara, Chinua Achebe etc
