STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The Teacher Introduce the Lord’s prayer to the student.

She explains that the Lord’s prayer is the prayer Jesus taught to his disciples and is still being prayed in the order Jesus taught them in our generation.

EXPLANATION

She recites the Lord’s Prayer to them as they repeat.

she further explains that the Lord’s prayer is just an illustration from Jesus to his disciples on how to pray and when one prays, he can pray according as he is being Led using the format given

DEMONSTRATION

Using the Bible story books and the pictures there in she tells the story of Jesus how he taught his disciples to pray

         - How the Disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray

         - How Jesus started with worshiping and praising God

         - Followed by asking for the will of the Lord be done

         - Followed by asking for daily need

         - Followed by asking for forgiveness of sins

         - Lastly followed by Guidance and Protection. Lk11:1-4

NOTE

The Lord’s prayer is the Prayer taught by Jesus to his disciples. The Order in which it is recited should be emphasized to the students. Prayers can be done according to the heart of the one taking the prayer, the Lord’s prayer is just a simple illustration on how to pray.
