INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: audio-visual charts showing sense organs, coloured pencils and crayons, objects of different sizes, shapes and colours

INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURES

PERIOD 1: The sense of sight

PRESENTATION

TEACHER’S ACTIVITY

PUPIL’S ACTIVITY

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher revises the previous lesson on the sense organs

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher then explains the meaning of analog computer

Analog computer of computer using electronic or mechanical phenomena to model the problem being solved by using one kind of physical quantity to represent another. Examples of analog computers are CRT (cathode ray tube) televisions and monitors, VCR (video cassette recorder) players and tapes

Pupils pay attention and participates

STEP 3

DEMONSTRATION

She further explains what movements means

Movement is the change in position

She explains and demonstrates some movement as the pupils do the same e.g leaping, hopping, running, stepping, catching of objects, throwing of objects, striking of objects, etc
