SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

1) Give a simple meaning of emotions

2) Explain the different emotions that can be expressed

INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES: Identification, Explanation, Play-way Method, Questions and Answers, Demonstrations, and Storytelling.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Posters, Charts, and Pictures of People expressing different emotions.

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses a song to introduce the topic

The teacher explains that emotions means a person’s inner feeling

Pupils pay attention and answer questions

The teacher further explains to them the various examples of emotions

-      Excitement

-      Gratitude

-      joy

Emotions means a person’s inner feeling.

Examples of emotions are

  • Anger
  • Frustration
  • Excitement
  • Gratitude
  • joy
