  2. Count the Queens
  3. Draw and Colour them with ease

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of different Queens

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

-The teacher uses the Queen of hearts song to introduce the topic and explains that Queens are female royal rulers

 

The teacher shows the children the pictures of different of Queens

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the Queens in their activity book and asks them to identify them

 

She then asks them to count the number of Queens there are

 

Pupils draw and colour a Queen following what the teacher does

STEP 3

DRAWING AND COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to draw and colour a Queen

 

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify a Queen

  1. How many Queens are in the activity book?
  2. Draw and Colour a Queen

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
