  1. Discuss the simple meaning of transparency
  2. Explain why it is good to be transparent

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: picture books, sweets, biscuits, games, pictures showing transparency, story books

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the Magic words song and introduces the topic and explains that transparency is when we are very clear about who we are and what we say

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

She explains why we should always be transparent:

-      To save us from punishment

-      So that it will be clear what our values are and what we stand against

Pupils pay attention and participates

STEP 3

STORY-TELLING

She tells the children a story about why it is good to be transparency

 

She then asks the children to share with the class what they learnt from the story

NOTE TAKING

The teacher writes a short note on the board

The pupils copy the notes in their books

 

NOTE

Transparency is when we are very clear about who we are and what we say.

Why should we always be transparent?

  • To save us from punishment
  • So that it will be clear what our values are and what we stand against
