  2. Explain why it is good to be honest

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: picture books, sweets, biscuits, games, pictures showing honesty, story books

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the Magic words song and introduces the topic and explains that honesty is when we say the truth

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

She explains why we should always be honest:

-      To save us from punishment

-      To show that we are good children

Pupils pay attention and participates

STEP 3

STORY-TELLING

She tells the children a story about why it is good to be honest

 

She then ask the children to share with the class what they learnt from the story

NOTE TAKING

The teacher writes a short note on the board

The pupils copy the notes in their books

NOTE

Honesty is when we say the truth.

Why should we always be honest?

  • To save us from punishment
  • To show that we are good children
