STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses a short drama on HIV/AIDS

The teacher explains the meaning of HIV/AIDS as a virus that attacks the immune system making it hard for the body to fight germs and infections

Pupils pay attention and answer questions

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher further explains ways we can contact HIV/AIDS

- from a mother to a baby during pregnancy, birth or breastfeeding

- from an infected sharp object like razor, knife, barbing clipper etc

DEMONSTRATION

Using the Poster, Charts, and Pictures the teacher teaches the children to be friendly and show love to those around them living with HIV/AIDS
