SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to

1) Discuss reasons for storing water

2) List some containers for storing water

Introduction of the topic

The teacher introduces the topic with a song and revises the methods of purifying water

  • Natural disaster (flood, earthquake, hurricane, etc.).
  • If your local water source becomes polluted or contaminated.
  • When you must turn off your water supply (frozen pipes, broken water main, local emergency, etc.).
