STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with the animal song;

 

She explains that a bird is an animal that flies in the sky

 

She tells them the different types of birds there are: parrot, pigeon, vultures etc

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a drawn bird.

 

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

 

Two little dicky birds sitting on a wall
One named Peter, one named Paul
Fly away, Peter, fly away, Paul
Come back, Peter, come back, Paul

Look, there goes Peter
Look, there goes Paul
