Give a simple meaning of cold weather
Discuss how to care for themselves during cold weather

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: pictures of thick clothes e.g sweater/cardigan, pictures of a well ventilated room, blankets, beverages etc

STEP 1 Introduction of the topic	The teacher introduces the topic with a drama on cold weather	Pupils pay attention

STEP 3 Demonstration	She further explains ways to care for ourselves during cold weather - Wear thick clothes e.g sweater/cardigan - Eating hot food and sipping hot beverages like tea or coffee - While sleeping, cover your body with blanket and duvet - Having warm baths	Pupils pay attention
STEP 4 NOTE TAKING	The teacher writes a short note on the board	The pupils write the notes in their books

Cold weather means when the environment around us is cold. Ways we can care for ourselves in cold weather are:

Wear thick clothes e.g sweater/cardigan
Eating hot food and sipping hot beverages like tea or coffee
While sleeping, cover your body with blanket and duvet
Having warm baths
