STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses Healing is the children’s bread song to introduce the topic.

She explains what healing is- Healing is when we make someone who is sick, well again by God’s power

EXPLANATION

She then further explains that Jesus did a lot of healings in his time on the earth

DEMONSTRATION

Using the bible story books and the pictures there in she tells the story of Jesus healing blind Bartimeaus

-      Jesus came to Jericho with his disciples

-      As they were leaving the city, blind Bartimaeus sat by the roadside begging and shouting that Jesus should have mercy

-      Jesus healed him and his sight was restored

NOTE

When they came to Jericho, As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus was sitting by the roadside begging.  When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”. Then Jesus healed him and his eyes were restored.
