INS PRESENTATION TEACHERS ACTIVITY PUPILS ACTIVITY STEP 1 INTRODUCTION The teacher uses a short drama on violence The teacher explains that violence is an act of force that cause or is intended to harm Pupils pay attention and answer questions STEP 2 EXPLANATION The teacher further explains the meaning of mental violence which is a mental injury inflicted on a child by other than accidental means. The teacher also explains the harmful effects of mental violence which are - poor mental conditions - depression and anxiety - suicide - misuse of drugs and alcohol addiction Pupils pay attention and participate STEP 3 DEMONSTRATION Using the Poster, Charts, and Pictures the teacher shows the pupils examples of mental violence Pupils pay attention and participate STEP 4 NOTE-TAKING The Teacher writes a short note on the board for the Pupils to copy.
