SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to

  1. Give a simple meaning of hot weather
  2. Discuss how to care for themselves during hot weather

Introduction of the topic

The teacher introduces the topic with a drama on hot weather

The teacher explains that that hot weather means when the environment around us is hot

She further explains ways to care for ourselves during hot weather

-      Wear light clothes

-      Eating warm food

-      Sleeping in a cool and airy room

NOTE

Hot weather means when the environment around us is hot. Ways we can care for ourselves in hot weather are:

  • Wear light clothes
  • Eating warm food
  • Sleeping in a cool and airy room
  • Having cold baths
