STEP 1 INTRODUCTION | The teacher uses Praise ye the Lord song to introduce the topic. She explains what raising from the dead mean- Raising from the dead simply means when we wake up a dead man back to life | Pupils pay attention |
STEP 2 EXPLANATION | She then further explains that Jesus did a lot of miracles during his ministry on earth and one of such is the raising of Lazarus from the dead | Pupils pay attention and participates |
STEP 3 DEMONSTRATION | Using the bible story books and the pictures there in she tells the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead - Jesus’ friends were Martha, Mary and their brother Lazarus - Lazarus fell sick and died - After three days, Jesus came and was told that Lazarus had been buried - He went to the tomb of Lazarus, gave thanks and called forth Lazarus - And Lazarus rose from the dead | Pupils pay attention and participate |

NOTE
Martha, Mary and their brother Lazarus were friends of Jesus. Lazarus fell sick and died. After three days, Jesus came to visit them and saw people mourning. He asked them to take Him to the tomb of Lazarus. After giving thanks, He calls forth Lazarus and he came back to life.
