  1. Discuss the simple meaning of neatness
  2. Explain how to maintain neatness in the home

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: pictures of a neat and a dirty home, pictures of materials that can be used to keep the home neat

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the try to be an obedient child song to introduce the topic

EXPLANATION

She explains how we can maintain neatness in our homes

-      Cut any grasses around

-      Sweeping and wash the gutters regularly

-      Throwing away dirts and wastes in the dust bin

STORY-TELLING

She tells the children a story about why it is good to be neat

 

She then ask the children to share with the class what they learnt from the story

NOTE TAKING

The teacher writes a short note on the board
