ENTRY BEHAVIOUR – The pupils can count numbers 1450 and spell numbers 160
SET INDUCTION –She uses number rhyme to arouse their interest

PERIOD I: Counting numbers 1500 and writing 200250

I Introduction  The teacher reviews the previous lesson introduces the new topic  Pupils participate 
II Counting  Using the number chart, she counts number 1500 repeatedly.  Pupils repeat after her 
III Writing numbers  She counts and write numbers 200250 on the board; she also uses flashcards  Pupils count and write in their book 
IV Number ending  She writes the number endings on the board and also uses flashcards  Pupils count 
Evaluation  Count and write numbers 200250 

Conclusion
 She marks their books and corrects them where necessary 

PERIOD II& III: Measurement of length, months of the year

I Introduction  The teacher reviews the previous lesson introduces the new topic  Pupils participate 
II Measurement of length  She tells them that length is how long or short something is Example: Which of them is longer? A is longer than B B is shorter than A
A is shorter than B B is shorter than A  Pupils identify tall and short object 
III Months of the year  She writes on the board and explains to the pupils that there are twelve months in a year which are January February March April June July August September October November December 

Evaluation  1a. Which of them is longer? b. 2a. How many months are in a year? ________ b. In which month is your birthday? ________

 She marks their books and corrects them where necessary 

PERIOD V: Tens and unitsaddition and subtraction of numbers, 3x table
