STEP 1 INTRODUCTION | The teacher uses He’s alive song to introduce the topic. She explains what resurrection is –It is when someone who was dead comes back to life

STEP 2 EXPLANATION | She then further explains that after Jesus died they took his body and buried it in a tomb. And he was there for three days

STEP 3 DEMONSTRATION | Using the bible story books and the pictures there in she tells the story of Jesus’ resurrection - How some women who were Jesus’ followers came to the tomb where Jesus was buried to anoint his body with spices and ointments - How they became startled on seeing two angels standing by the empty tomb - How they were told by the angels that Jesus was no longer in the tomb but that He was alive. And that they should go and share the news to other disciples | Pupils pay attention and participate |

NOTE
Three days after Jesus died, some women took some perfume and spices to go and anoint his body in the tomb. They met two angels there who told them that Jesus had risen from the dead. They were told to go and share the news with the disciples.
