INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of different apples

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

-The teacher uses the fruits song to introduce the topic and explains that Apples are tasty and edible fruits

 

The teacher shows the children the pictures of different types of apples

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the apples in their activity book and asks them to identify them

 

She then asks them to count the number of apples there are

 

Pupils draw and colour a apples following what the teacher does

STEP 3

DRAWING AND COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to draw and colour an apple

 

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify apples

  1. How many apples are in the activity book?
  2. Draw and Colour an apple

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
