STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses I have decided to follow Jesus song to introduce the topic.

She explains what supper is- A meal eaten in the evening

EXPLANATION

She then further explains that the last supper was Jesus last meal with his disciples.

 

She further explains that, before Jesus rode into Jerusalem, He had sent His disciples ahead to go and prepare a guest house where they’ll all be having the evening meal together.

DEMONSTRATION

Using the bible story books and the pictures there in she tells the story of the Last supper

-      How Jesus began by washing all their feet

-      How Jesus broke the bread and gave each of them to eat, telling them it was his body which would be broken

-      How he poured wine into their glasses and asked them all to drink telling them it was His blood which was to be poured out for the sake of every human being

-      He also told them to do this eating of bread and drinking of wine as often as possible in remembering what he did- Him dying

NOTE

Supper is a meal we eat at night. At the last supper, Jesus ate his last food with his disciples. He washed all their feet, broke bread which was his body and drank wine which was His blood. He also told them to do it often in order to remember Him.
