SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to

  1. Identify Teddy bears
  2. Count the Teddy bears
  3. Draw and Colour them with ease

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of different teddy bears

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

-The teacher uses the plants song and introduces the topic and explains that Teddy bears are toys

 

The teacher shows the children the pictures of different types of teddy bears

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the teddy bears in their activity book and asks them to identify them

 

She then asks them to count the number of teddy bears there are

 

Pupils draw and colour a teddy bear following what the teacher does

STEP 3

DRAWING AND COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to draw and colour a teddy bear

 

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify teddy bears

  1. How many teddy bears are in the activity book?
  2. Draw and Colour a teddy bear

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
