TOPIC- Counting/identification of numbers 1-300

CONTENT – Writing 100-180, Number endings. Fill in the missing number 100-220. Number spellings 1-60. Introduction to 3x table. Subtraction of numbers- introduction to tens and units. 

INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES – By the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to –

  1. Count and identify numbers 1-300
  2. Write numbers 100-180
  3. Spell and write numbers 1-60 in words
  4. Subtraction of numbers- introduction to tens and units
  5. Recite the 3x table

INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES – Explanation, repetition, questions and answers

ENTRY BEHAVIOUR – The pupils can count numbers 1-250 and spell numbers 1-50

SET INDUCTION –She uses number rhyme to arouse their interest
