STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the Oh how I love Jesus song to introduce the topic.

She explains that a disciple is someone who follows the teaching of another person

EXPLANATION

She then further explains that Jesus carefully picked his disciples. Some were fishermen, tax collectors while others were former disciples of john

DEMONSTRATION

Using the bible story books and the pictures there in she lists the twelve disciples of Jesus showing them their pictures

NOTE TAKING

The teacher writes a short note on the board

  2. Andrew
  3. James
  4. John
  5. Phillip
  6. Bartholomew
  7. Matthew
  8. Thomas
  9. James the son of Alphaeus
  10. Jude
  11. Simon
  12. Judas Iscariot- the one that betrayed Jesus

EVALUATION:    1. Jesus had _________ disciples. (12, 18)

  1. What is the name of the disciple that betrayed Jesus? (John, Judas Iscariot)
  2. Jesus chose His disciples. Yes/No
