  3. Draw and Colour them with ease

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of different rocks

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

-The teacher uses the plants song and introduces the topic and explains that Rocks are hard materials that contain one or more minerals

 

The teacher shows the children the pictures of different types of rocks

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the rocks in their activity book and asks them to identify them

 

She then asks them to count the number of rocks there are

 

Pupils draw and colour a rock following what the teacher does

STEP 3

DRAWING AND COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to draw and colour a rock

 

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify rocks

  1. How many rocks are in the activity book?
  2. Draw and Colour a rock

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
