INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the Old Macdonald had a farm song and introduces the topic and explains that garden tools are tools made for gardening

EXPLANATION

She lists and discusses some garden tools in our environment showing them the pictures

-      Rake

-      Cutlass

-      Hoe

-      Shovel

-      Wheelbarrow

-      Hand trowel

-      Watering can

She asks the pupils to identify ach of the garden tools

The teacher writes a short note on the board

Garden tools are tools made for gardening. Some examples of garden tools

are

  • Rake
  • Cutlass
  • Hoe
  • Shovel
  • Wheelbarrow
  • Hand trowel
  • Watering can
