INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of different seeds

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

-The teacher uses the plants song and introduces the topic and explains that Seeds are plants are the part of the plant we sow.

 

The teacher shows the children the pictures of different types of seeds

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the seeds in their activity book and asks them to identify them

 

She then asks them to count the number of seeds there are

 

Pupils draw and colour a seed following what the teacher does

STEP 3

DRAWING AND COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to draw and colour a seed

 

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify seeds

  1. How many seeds are in the activity book?
  2. Draw and Colour a seed

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
