SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to

  1. Identify fish
  2. Count the fish
  3. Draw and Colour them with ease

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of fish, models of fish

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the animals song and introduces the topic and explains that a fish is an animal that lives in the water

 

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the fish in their activity book and asks them to identify them

 

She then asks them to count the number of fishes there are

 

Pupils participate

STEP 3

DRAWING AND

COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to draw and colour the fish with colour as the teacher draws and colours hers on the board

The pupils draw and colour following the leading of the teacher

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify a fish

  1. How many fish are in the activity book?
  2. Draw and Colour the fish

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
