SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to;

1) Define Stigmatization

2) List the types of stigmatization.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Posters, Charts, and Pictures of people in special difficult circumstances.

STEP 1 INTRODUCTION	The teacher uses the method of set induction on the previous topic (Forms of Child Abuse) to introduce the new topic (Stigmatization). The teacher explains that stigmatization is the act of treating someone or something unfairly by publicly disapproving of them.	Pupils pay attention and answer questions
STEP 2 EXPLANATION	The teacher further explains to them, that there are types of Stigmatization which are: Physical Stigmatization ( Stigmatization associated with physical deformity. E.g: Crippled, Blindness, and Imbecile.) Mental Stigmatization (Stigmatization associated with mental illness. E.g: Madness. Societal Stigmatization (Stigmatization associated with race, religion ethnicity, e.t.c. E.g: Black race vs White Race, Muslim vs Christian religion).	Pupils pay attention and participate
STEP 3 DEMONSTRATION	Using the Poster, Charts, and Pictures of people in dangerous circumstances, the teacher shows the pupils the types of stigmatization.	Pupils pay attention and participate
