STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with the animal song;

 

She explains that humpty dumpty refers to something that when it is destroyed cannot be restored

 

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them the picture of humpty dumpty.

 

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again
