PERIOD I and II: Identification of the consonant sounds

II Vowel sounds	She explains that out of the 26 alphabet letters that 21 of them are called consonants	Pupils pay attention
III Identification	Using flashboards, she presents the consonants to the pupils. Bb Cc Dd Ff Gg Hh Jj Kk Ll Mm Nn Pp Qq Rr Ss Tt Vv Ww Xx Yy Zz She also writes them on the board for easy identification.	Pupils identify and call out the vowels

Conclusion	She corrects them where necessary and commend them

PERIOD III and IV: Writing and association to object
