  2. Discuss and list some play activities
  3. Interact with other children

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: picture books, posters/charts showing various play activities, children toys, pupils as learning resource

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the theme song introduces the topic and explains that play activities are those activities we engage during our free time

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

She explains the various play activities we have

-      Clapping

-      Running

-      jumping

Pupils pay attention and participates

STEP 3

DEMONSTRATION

She demonstrates each of the play activities listed above

 

She then asks some of the learners to display the same

NOTE TAKING

The teacher writes a short note on the board

The pupils copy the note in their books

 

NOTE

Play activities are those activities we engage during our free time

Various examples of play activities we have

  • Clapping
  • Running
  • jumping
