SET INDUCTION – She uses number rhyme to arouse their interest

PERIOD I & II: Oral counting, number ending and writing 160

I Introduction  The teacher revise the previous lesson and introduces the new one  Pupils participate 
II Counting  Using the number chart, the teacher counts numbers 1110 repeatedly.  Pupils repeat after her 
III Number Endings  She writes out the number endings on the board.
 Pupils count the numbers 
IV Writing 160  She counts and write number on the board  Pupils participate 
Evaluation  Count and write 160 

Conclusion  She marks their books and corrects them where necessary 

PERIOD III, IV and V: Filling the missing numbers and colour box II

III Colour box II  She introduces the colour box II. She calls out the names of the colours and also compare the colours with other objects in the class  Pupils observe and mention the names of the colours 
Evaluation  Fill in the missing numbers 1 __ 3 __ 5 __ 7 __ 9 __ 11 __ 13 __ 15 __ 17 __ 19 __ to 60. Identify these colours 

Conclusion
 She corrects them where necessary and commend them
