CONTENT: Number endings, recognition and writing of numbers 1-60. Filling missing numbers. Sensorial colour box II

INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES – By the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to –

  1. Count numbers 1-110
  2. Recognize and write numbers 1-60
  3. Fill in the missing numbers
  4. Identify colours in box II

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS – number chart, flash cards, counters, colour chart

INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES – explanation, repetition, questions and answers

ENTRY BEHAVIOUR – The pupils can count 1-100

SET INDUCTION – She uses number rhyme to arouse their interest

She counts and write number on the board

Count and write 1-60

 

Conclusion

She marks their books and corrects them where necessary
