  2. Give some examples of things that were created by God and on which day it was created

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: toys, picture books showing the Noah’s ark story, bible, story book

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the ‘He’s got the whole world in His hands’ song to introduce the topic.

She explains that rest means when we stop all we are doing o that we can relax

EXPLANATION

She then further explains that when God finished creating everything, He rested

DEMONSTRATION

Using the bible story books and the pictures there in she tells the story of creation from the 5th -7th day

-      5th day: God created sea animals and birds

-      6th Day: God created Land animals and man

-      7th Day: God rested

The teacher writes a short note on the board

The pupils copy the note
