  1. Mention some uses of toilet e.g to urinate, to defecate
  2. Mention the health habits they are taught e.g washing the hands after urinating, flushing the toilet after defecating

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Pictures showing how the toilet is used, Pictures/charts showing the health habits of pupils when using the toilet

Introduction of the topic

The teacher introduces the topic with a story on the uses of toilet

Pupils pay attention

Explanation

The teacher mentions the uses of toilet like to defecate, to urinate

 

She then mentions the health habits of pupils when using the toilet ,such as flushing the toilet after defecating, washing the hands after use of the toilet, keeping the toilet clean

Demonstration

Using pictures showing how the toilet is used, the teacher how the pupils the various uses of toilet

Pupils pay attention

NOTE TAKING

The teacher writes a short note on the board

Pupils copy the notes in their books

 

NOTE

Uses of toilet are:

  1. To urinate
  2. To defaecate

Healthy habits when using the toilet are:

  1. Flush the toilet after defaecating
  2. Wash your hands after using the toilet
  3. Keep the toilet clean
