  1. Identify doors as one of the things found in the house
  2. Count the doors
  3. Draw and Colour them with ease

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of houses with doors

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses house song and introduces the topic and explains that people live in a house for safety and doors are found at the entrance of the house

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher walks to the door of the classroom closes and opens it.

She tells them that doors help to restrict the moving in and out of a house. It is an entrance of a house

STEP 3

DRAWING AND COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to draw and colour the doors as she draws and colours hers on the board

The pupils draw and colour following the teacher’s leading

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify a door in your class

  1. How many doors are in the activity book?
  2. Draw and Colour the doors

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
