SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to

  1. Identify a fence
  2. Count the fences
  3. Draw and Colour them with ease

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of houses with different fences

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

-The teacher uses the house song and introduces the topic and explains that Fence is part of the house that keeps it secured when the gate is added

 

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

IDENTIFICATION

The teacher shows them the fences of different houses in their activity book and asks them to identify them

She then asks them to count the number of fences there are

 

Pupils participate

STEP 3

DRAWING AND COLOURING

The teacher shares out their books for them to draw colour the fences with colour brown as she draws and colours hers on the board

The pupils draw and colour following the teacher’s leading

 

EVALUATION:    1. Identify fences

  1. How many fences are in the activity book?
  2. Draw and Colour the fence

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
