STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with the traffic light song;

 

She explains that a  police officer is someone who maintains law and order

 

She also explains that the horn is an object in the vehicle that makes sound

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a picture of a police officer and a horn

 

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

Little Boy Blue come blow your horn,
The sheep’s in the meadow the cow’s in the corn.
But where’s the boy who looks after the sheep?
He’s under a haystack fast asleep.
Will you wake him? No, not I – for if I do, he’s sure to cry.
