INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of apples, real apples

STEP 1 INTRODUCTION | The teacher uses the fruit song and introduces the topic and explains that an apple is a fruit that we eat and it nourishes our body
She explains that apple come in two colours: red and green | Pupils pay attention |
STEP 2 IDENTIFICATION | The teacher shows them the apples in their activity book and asks them to identify them
She then asks them to count the number of apples there are

STEP 3 DRAWING AND COLOURING | The teacher shares out their books for them to draw and colour some of the apples with green and some with red as she draws and colours hers on the board | The pupils draw and colour and following the teacher’s leading |
