INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Activity book/Drawing book, Colours(coloured pencils, crayons, poster colours), pictures of triangles, objects that are triangular in shape

STEP 1 INTRODUCTION	-The teacher uses the shapes song and introduces the topic and explains that Triangle is a shape that has three sides. She shows them objects like traffic signs, roofs etc that are triangular in shape	Pupils pay attention
STEP 2 IDENTIFICATION	The teacher shows them the triangles in their activity book and asks them to identify them She then asks them to count the number of triangles there are	Pupils participate
STEP 3 DRAWING AND COLOURING	The teacher shares out their books for them to draw and colour the triangles with colour green as she draws and colours hers on the board	The pupils draw and colour following the teacher’s leading
