STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with the fruits song;

 

She explains that a garden is a small farm around our house where we can plant some vegetables and other crops like pepper, tomatoes etc

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them a picture of a girl and her beautiful garden

 

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

 

Mary, Mary, quite contrary
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells and cockleshells
And pretty maids all in a row
And pretty maids all in a row
