STEP 1 INTRODUCTION | The teacher uses the Go down, go down to Egypt song to introduce the topic and explains that because Moses’ was a stammer, he went to Pharaoh’s palace with his brother Aaron | Pupils pay attention |
STEP 2 EXPLANATION | She explains that when Moses got to the palace and told Pharaoh that God said he should let His people to go and worship Him in the wilderness, he refused to believe him

STEP 3 DEMONSTRATION | She further explains that - Pharaoh asked for a sign to show that indeed God sent Moses - Moses dropped his rod on the floor and it became a serpent - Pharaoh’s asked his magicians to also throw down their rod and it became a serpent - But Moses’ serpent swallowed all the other serpents of the magicians | Pupils pay attention and participate |

NOTE
Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh to tell him what God had said. Pharaoh refused to believe him and asked for a sign. Moses threw down his rod and it became a serpent. Pharaoh’s magicians also threw down their rod and it became a serpent too. But Moses serpent swallowed all others
