STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses Prayer is the key song to introduce the topic.

She explains what prayer is –It is when we talk to God

EXPLANATION

She then further explains that while Jesus was on the earth, He taught the disciples how to pray

DEMONSTRATION

Using the bible story books and the pictures there in she recites Our Lord’s Prayer and explains it line by line

 

The learners are asked to recite Our Lord’s prayer

The teacher writes a short note on the board

The pupils copy the notes in their books

 

NOTE

Our Father, who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name;

Thy kingdom come;

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;

And forgive us our trespasses

As we forgive those who trespass against us;

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil

For thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever, Amen!
