STEP 1 INTRODUCTION | The teacher uses the Old Macdonald had a farm song and introduces the topic and explains that non-living things are things that have no life in them | Pupils pay attention |
STEP 2 EXPLANATION | She gives various examples of non-living things such as - stones - Paper - Umbrella - cap
She further explains that non-living things cannot do the following - Move - Eat - Breathe - Give birth to young ones - Die | Pupils pay attention and participates |
STEP 3 INTERACTIVE SESSION | She asks the pupils to tell the class the various non-living things they see at their various homes | Pupils pay attention and participate |
STEP 4 NOTE TAKING | The teacher writes a short note on the board | The pupils copy the note in their books |
NOTE
Non-living things are things that have no life in them. Examples of non-living things such as
- stones
- Paper
- Umbrella
- cap
Non-living things cannot do the following
