STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher introduces the topic with the animal song;

 

She explains that a lamb is a young sheep

She also explains that a school is a place where learning and studying happens

The pupils pay attention and participate

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains the rhymes and shows them the picture of a school and a lamb

 

She also explains the wordings one after the other

Pupils listen

STEP 3

RECITATION

The teacher recites the rhyme as many times as possible and asks the pupils to do same.

 

Mary had a little lamb,
whose fleece was white as snow.

And everywhere that Mary went,
the lamb was sure to go.

It followed her to school one day
which was against the rules.

It made the children laugh and play,
to see a lamb at school.
