STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses Jesus loves the little children song to introduce the topic.

She explains what love is- Love means to feel strong affection for someone

Pupils pay attention

EXPLANATION

She then further explains that Jesus enjoyed the company of a lot adults in his lifetime- his disciples and the multitude

DEMONSTRATION

Using the bible story books and the pictures there in she tells them how Jesus showed that He loved little children

-      How many people loved to be in Jesus company when he was on the earth

-      How they brought little children to Jesus so he could pray for them and bless them

-      How the disciples wanted to push the children back

-      How Jesus warned them not to saying “suffer the little children not to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven”

The teacher writes a short note on the board

NOTE

Many people, adults and children loved to be in the company of Jesus, listening to His teachings and watching His miracles. On one of those occasions, they brought some children for Jesus to pray for and the disciples wanted to push them back. Jesus said, “no! Suffer the little children not to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven”.
