STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The teacher uses the Old Macdonald had a farm song and introduces the topic and explains that living things are things that have life in them

Pupils pay attention

EXPLANATION

She gives various examples of living things such as

- Plants like rose flower, lilly, sunflower etc

- Animals like dogs, cat, pig etc

- Human beings

 

She further explains that living things are capable of doing the following things:

-      Move

-      Eat

-      Breathe

-      Give birth to young ones

-      Die

Pupils pay attention and participates

INTERACTIVE SESSION

She asks the pupils to tell the class the various living things they see at their various homes

NOTE TAKING

The teacher writes a short note on the board

The pupils write the notes in their books

 

NOTE

Living things are things that have life in them. Examples of living things such as
