SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to
1) Draw the Nigeria’s national flag
2) Recite the national anthem and pledge of the country

STEP 1 Introduction of the topic | The teacher introduces the topic with a story on Nigeria. She tells that our Nigerian flag, anthem and pledge are part of Nigeria’s national symbols | Pupils pay attention |
STEP 2 Explanation | She shows them the Nigerian flag an tells them it has two colours: Green and white She then shows the pupils how to correctly draw and color Nigeria’s national flag
