Content:   Writing 0 –30, learning colours – red, blue, black, yellow, brown, white, green, the days of the week. Number ending 9 -70, fill in the missing numbers 0-30

Specific Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:

  1. Count and identify numbers 1- 70
  2. Write numbers 0 – 30
  3. Outline more colours
  4. Mention the days of the week and the activity for each day

Instructional Materials: Number chart, counters. Flash cards etc

Instructional Techniques: Demonstration, repetition, questions 

Entry Behaviour:  The pupils can count 1 – 60                                                                                                                  

Set Induction: The teacher uses number rhyme to arouse their interest
